The scandal is going to ruin her chances. She still has a chance, but the polls show how people are becoming more skeptical of her. I definitely believe she was in the wrong for using a private email server. She has given no actual reason as to why she did do this. All she says is that if she could go back and change it, then she would. She should definitely still be under investigation which I am glad that she is. The American people should know the true people they are voting for.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the graph above, Hillary's scores had always been quite low; they never went above 50%. Therefore, it is not the scandal that caused Hillary's lower amount of support. Living in California, an extremely democratic state, we automatically assume that Hillary is going to win and ignores the fact that Trump has an enormous amount of support. But how come Trump supporters, despite all of Trump's controversies and his big loss in the presidential debates, are still loyal toward him? I believe that there may be two reason for this: either Trump supporters were manipulated by the Republican Party, or they wholeheartedly believe that Trump is a better candidate than Hillary to change America.
ReplyDeleteI think people need to get over the whole email scandal. People are just finding reasons to dislike her. I think she needs to continue talking about the scandal and justify it so people vote for her. Trump and Clinton both have things that can ruin their campaign and they need to push past it.

ReplyDeleteThis scandal will impact the election because voters are currently leaning towards Trump. However, because this election is so close, it is hard to predict how much this will impact the results.
ReplyDeleteThis definitely has the capability to bring Clinton down in the polls, especially with how close the numbers are currently. However, with the elections less than a week away, I'm not surprised about the scandals coming up about both Trump and Clinton. Both candidates have done wrong things in the past, so I don't think there's much reason for people to feel so betrayed by Clinton, especially because Trump has had far worse scandals come up in recent months.

ReplyDeleteThis scandal will definitely put a dent in Clinton's campaign as it will reflect badly on the democratic candidate who has promised to help everyone and share what she knows. I feel this whole scandal is something that needs to be covered up with something good she does if she wants to regain points in this election.

ReplyDeleteI feel that in this point of the election we are in a very sensitive position. The things that have happened in the past, as we know completely changed the direction of the election. I feel that now is almost "crunch time" as we are a week away form the election, so anything that happens now might be a big game changer. Neither candidates have had the best impressions, some worse than others, but in the end who will win might possibly be a complete toss up.

ReplyDeleteThe renewal of the scandal is going to negatively impact Hilary for this election. However, people already knew about it so I feel like she won't drastically lose supporters. Hilary was in the wrong, yes, but both candidates have done their fair share of doing shady things. Just because Hilary did this doesn't make Trump a perfect candidate.

Everyone knew that there is a lot of controversy surrounding Clinton and what she has done while she has been holding positions, and they are still continue to vote for her. she was the secretary of state. a secretary of state will obviously come into contact with some classified information that should not be shared with the public. People are focusing so heavily on hillary's "scandal" while completely ignoring Donald Trump's laundry list of mistakes, lies, insults, racist comments, sexist comments, and his temperament.

ReplyDeleteEven before the FBI investigation, the nation was aware of Hillary Clintons corruption. However, looking at the statistics, it seems like it is doing a dent, a HUGE dent as a matter of fact. Although I do not regard the email scandal as important as other matters, I do think that Clinton should not have used a private email.

If the FBI does find something within the deleted emails, her voting rates will definitely decrease, however, if nothing is found, I believe a lot of undecided voters will put this case at rest and side with her campaign instead of Trump's

Yes it was wrong that Clinton used those private servers to send private emails as a secretary of state because if she is running for president the people need to be able to trust the president and after these emails were deleted the people might not be able to trust her anymore witch might jeopardize her becoming the president.
ReplyDeleteI think this will especially impact Clinton, as we can see she's been polling badly in swing states lately. My hope is just that people will come to the conclusion that it's better to vote for someone who, yes, may lack transparency, but at least has good policy. That's the hope anyway. We'll see come Tuesday. #fingerscrossed Also, if she gets elected, I think she'll have to work hard to gain the trust of the people. As the article shows, even a lot of the people voting for her aren't pumped about it.
ReplyDeletethis has already impacted hillarys campaign negatively and will continue to do so until the FBI closes her case again. I dont think Hillary was in the wrong for using private servers. Obviously her decision to do so backfired as it makes her look corrupt and two faced. Unless there is a leak in which vital information from the emails are recovered indicating that Hillary has been hiding something sinister from the US, I wont say she is completely in the wrong, but so far this hasn't happened.

ReplyDeleteYes, Hillary is wrong for using a private email. She got caught, and should be punished for it. She knew better and there should be no reason to hide anything if you aren't guilty of something. I think the scandal will definitely make it hard for voters to second guess her and find it hard to trust her as a president, but her opponent is no better.

ReplyDeleteI believe the email scandal should no longer be looked at. I think the time has passed and it's overkill. While it is wrong that she used a private email, this has been blown out of proportion, and Hillary has explained many of the situations. I believe that it may make it hard for her to win the election, but her opponents vulgar language, comments, actions, and proposals will most likely hurt him much more than the emails will hurt Hillary.
