Because voting has already started, and this election is making history, people are looking more closely than ever at every little thing concerning this election. This exact thing happened in Indiana concerning voter fraud scare. Many voters say that they experienced a change on their paper forms regarding their name and date of birth, and contacted state officials when they noticed the change. According to Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson, "[they] have found no indication it has been compromised." This is not the first time though that Indian has seen something like this, just earlier this month, 56 counties in the state have been affected by something similar. What steps do you guys think should be taken in order to prevent future events like this? Will this have an impact on the final result? On voter turnout?
I think as a country we should really be taking more seriously and protecting the right to do so. We are very privileged in being able to vote for our leader and laws, so we should start treating that right very special.
ReplyDeleteHow could the elections be rigged this is ridiculous per se. The Republicans and Democrats are 100% trustworthy with no corruption whatsoever. Everything the bias media says is baloni. Trump is trying to still think about ways to make Trump University a thing and Trump Steaks great again that he now's calling the elections rigged. Like Ha! the US of A would never have such a thing. That's something only deplorables would have lul.

This article tried to convince its readers to vote for Donald Trump. Therefore, this article was forged by Trump. Don't be manipulated, the people of America, and believe nothing.

ReplyDeleteOn a more serious note, state and federal governments should investigate this alleged voter fraud because citizens' right to vote is a very important way to have influence on the their own government. Their votes should not be tampered with under any circumstances, and whoever is doing this has to be investigated and punished.
I think any form of tampering with ballots and votes should be considered voter fraud, no matter how insignificant it may be. IF people are willing to slightly alter information, it wouldn't be surprising that they would progressively go to further lengths in order to change the results.

ReplyDeleteI believe that there needs to be an increase in security when it comes to the voting ballots. I think, especially with this election, voting cannot at all be tampered with. I think that this particular instance won't have a big effect on the election, but it may have one on voter turnout because people may not think that there vote will matter.

ReplyDeleteTo fully answer Julianna's assumption, I think yes the russians are rigging it. It's totally them. They want Trump as president so you know, they will obviously use their intelligence to turn US citizens onto each other. They totally have the infrastructure to do so.
ReplyDeleteOkay so I think the important thing to address here is no one said this was actually voter fraud. It actually doesn't sound much like voter fraud at all, because all the reports are of people, who noticed that something was wrong with their form and went to fix it. That doesn't sound like anyone is trying to impersonate them, it just sounds like a mistake. But, I think this is a good example of how people can get all freaked out over some allegations, and it definitely reflects what's happening nationwide. We have to combat this fear. Voter fraud really isn't a problem in the US. But anti-voter fraud laws are. They're keeping minorities from being able to vote. So if you got swept off the ground by this article, then I think you can understand why everyone else is too.

ReplyDeleteTrump could be right. He is a successful businessman that built his name which is now global. Not winning a grammy for his well established 3 season tv show and other competitions everything might just placed against his odds for a certain reason.... Democrats maybe?
ReplyDeleteI believe this is just another one of Trump's antics with no real meaning behind it. Trump has a tendency to do a lot of things that don't necessarily make sense. I wouldn't be surprised if this investigation turned up with no results.

ReplyDeleteI believe that in order to reduce voter fraud the government needs to put more funding into background checks for voters so that it will be more difficult to fake votes.
